Pia Ejinn

Having been born to a rather quiet family, ever since she was a child Pia had always been a rowdy one. Chasing fish in the water, and small creatures on land, it seemed the small Ejinn girl was always on the move. Many at that time thought she would mellow out with years and age... But It seemed she did the opposite. Each summer after a fateful event that made her even more fired up than ever to defend her tribe, Pia grew stronger and stronger... She would never watch the same fate again.As the Ejinn tribe traveled by rivers as a way of escaping the upcoming Nadaam, Other tribes that were looking for worthy fighters seemed to have followed their movements. Pia knew not what was happening as a younger member of the tribe, only that there were nets in the waves and her people were afraid. Tribe membered scattered about and parents grabbed for their children, the feisty little girl was caught in a loose net to which her friend was quick to help her free, only for them to be caught in a second thrown net instead. When Pia made move to free her friend in turn- She was pulled away by her own parents and elder brother. Yet water does not carry screams well, screams of a young girl begging to aid her friend. Forced to leave behind someone she loved to the mercy of the waters and the warriors. As the Ejinn tribe finally escaped away to their new home, Pia was left scared and silent for what may be the first time in her life... Repeatedly trying to return to where her friend was left, yet never being allowed by her family who consoled her on what they believed was a loss- at least until her friend returned, now decorated in scales of swirling pink...For weeks after the accident, even as the Nadaam came and passed... Pia was all but silent- shaken from the ordeal. The feeling of the net on her skin, the view of her friend who was caught when it was almost her instead- Could she have survivors guilt even if neither of them had died?! The feeling of pain and fear sparked a new fire in her belly once she realized one thing... If a warrior is what the other tribes were after, a warrior is what they would get. A warrior of the Ejinn who could put them back in their place if they ever hurt her tribe again. She took first to a spear- the fishing tool that they used to provide for their people- Surely It would serve just as well for her to use as a weapon? Learning was difficult enough with no one who could train her, Pia often times found herself asking Outsiders carrying spears if they would be willing to teach her in return for helping them catch some fish. As time went by, each move learned became more and more of a dance to her, body moving as fluid as the waters she loved.Dance was soon another thing Pia learned from a traveler, who carried strange weapons from across the star. Curved blades one could fling to use at distance, and slice from close by- And with already fluid movements they told her perhaps she would find joy in such an art? While hesitant, she agreed to learn from the Raen woman. At first the steps confused her, the movements of a land far from her home... It felt strange. It was out of sheer curiosity she instead tried to follow the steps of her own people and found it was far easier this way. Step by step Pia began to learn the curved blades that had become just as trustworthy to her as her spear- even showing her friends her newfound skillset based off of an art from so far that she had now brought so close to them. But just learning the blade wasn't enough... She needed to be a warrior in the eyes of Azim and Nhaama, or no one would take her seriously! and so... After begging the Khatun and her family for permission, the young woman took to preparing for Bardam's Mettle, determined to prove to the entire Steppe her people were not weak.

ଳ Ejinn Piranha: Being one the Ejinn tribe's few Warriors of the Steppe, Pia carries a title of respect among her people! Ask her about if if you're ever curious and she'll tell you about it!ଳ Yol Rider: Pia has a rather large and rather grumpy Yol named Shuurga! While he has a bad attitude, Pia claims that the Yol has a wonderful heart and she will gladly share stories of the beast, who's feathers now frequently adorn her clothing or weapons!ଳ Squid Hunter Extraordinaire: SQUIDS!!! Her absolute number one enemy, this Piranha has a seething hatres of the inky creatures and so she has sword to gobble up as many as possible (without making them extinct because that would harm the waters!)... and so more often than not you find her hands stained by ink.ଳ Environmentalist Keep the environment clean! Even when doing something like drowning someone in the Azim Khaat, Pia cleans up after herself and expects others to as well!ଳ Scared of Heights: She's used to the waves, not the skies!! Pia hates heights, they terrify her, she she tends to close her eyes on Shuurga's Back! She hates the Dawn throne because of how high up it is...-----------------------------------------------Age:
